1. How do I order?
Ordering is online through www.restaurantbox.com. Simply select:
- Your preferred Restaurant Box
- Any add ons
- How many people the box is for
- Your preferred delivery date
2. How far ahead can I order?
Each Restaurant decides how far ahead orders need to be booked typically this varies from 2 -7 days to allow for ordering ingredients. Restaurants also decide how far ahead you can book from 1 month to 12 months, but you can easily check via the availability tool on each Restaurant Box page.
3. I have a special date I want to order for how can I see which Restaurant Boxes are available?
Simply enter your postcode and the date you are looking for and all available Restaurant Boxes for that date will be shown.
For special occasions we recommend you schedule your delivery for the day before.
4. Can I change my order?
You can change your order until the order cut off date which is stated on your order confirmation in both your customer account and order confirmation email.
5. How long can I store my Restaurant Box for?
The contents of a Restaurant Box are freshly prepared for your immediate enjoyment. The fridge life of each box is given within the listing but for maximum freshness we recommend enjoying within 24 hours of delivery.
6. Can I swap the contents of a Restaurant Box?
Sorry we are not able to edit the contents of a Restaurant Box however many have the option to customise with optional add-ons.
7. Can you change a Restaurant Box to suit my dietary requirements?
Whilst individual Restaurant Boxes cannot be modified each Restaurant Box is listed with relevant dietary categories to enable you to filter selections according to your requirements and preferences.
8. Can you accommodate food allergies / intolerance?
All Restaurant Boxes are compliant with The Food Standard Agency requirements in terms of allergens with full ingredient listing and allergens listed online with any allergenic ingredients highlighted.
At the time of ordering you will be asked to confirm you have checked the allergens list and are responsible for checking any of your guests are also aware of allergens.
Whilst each Restaurant Box lists any allergenic ingredients and our Restaurant Box partners are required adhere to strict contamination protocols, Restaurant Boxes are prepared in Restaurant Kitchens where allergen ingredients may be present. Therefore we would ask that if you or any of your guests has a severe food allergy or intolerance you contact us in advance of your order to discuss.
9. Is your packaging recyclable?
We work with our Restaurant partners to deliver eco-packaging solutions wherever possible. Each Restaurant Box listing contains details of the eco-credentials.
To be kindest to the earth we encourage our customers to compost and recycle themselves however if this is not possible send your Restaurant Box packaging back to us with our free return label. For this option we ask our customers to save up 5 sets of packaging for each return to offset the carbon cost of the return.
10. Do you sell gift cards?
Absolutely! Restaurant Box gift cards can be gifted for purchases on www.restaurantbox.com. Also many of our Restaurant partners provide the opportunity to add a ‘dine-in’ voucher to your Restaurant Box order.
